ROCA AREA CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS

This page is designed to give a brief discussion/overview of the City's Master Plan, specific developments ( proposed or underway ) within our Community, and provide links to maps of these projects

City Master Plans:

The General Plan is the City’s long-term comprehensive policy guide for the physical, economic, and environmental growth and renewal of the city. The General Plan is strongly oriented toward physical development of land uses, a circulation network, and supporting facilities and services. It is comprised of goals, policies, programs and actions, which are based on an assessment of current and future needs and available resources. The document is the principal tool for City use in evaluating public and private building projects and municipal service improvements. Conformance of projects and improvements with the General Plan is a major step toward their approval. The last comprehensive update to the City’s General Plan was completed in 1988 covering the planning period thru 2006 and has outdated information, assumptions, projections and policies
