ROCA LAND USE COMMITTEE

The ROCA Land Use Committee (LUC) reviews all new development applications submitted to the City of Sacramento for our ROCA area and submits comments  regarding our community concerns and requests.     We then negotiate and follow-up with both City officials and developers to ensure our comments are addressed.
The committee also reviews other applications in the surrounding Natomas and Gardenland communities that are important to our community (e.g. auto malls) or to support other community associations in negotiating their concerns.
Our goal is to ensure all new developments are compatible with our community vision and  meet community needs for traffic, pedestrian access, parks, bkeways and visual appeal .

The Land Use committee meets monthly on the 1st  and 3rd Wednesday of each month at 6PM in the South Natomas Community Center.
